Philanthronauts, Inc. is a societal profit collaborative at the crossroad of the arts, culture, advocacy, and social action. At its core, is the simple premise that abundant societal profit yields may only be realized if the networks, opportunities, resources, and systems available to small and mid-size nonprofit organizations — seeking to engage stakeholders effectively — are streamlined, optimized, and leveraged in synergetic ways. Our work seeks to activate the shared and strategic advancement of small and mid-size arts and cultural nonprofit organizations to optimize their capability, bolster their own impact, and at the same time, spur a societal profit that goes beyond that which they each inherently provide. The latter aim will be met by harnessing the power of arts and culture as a vibrant advocacy impetus, which will drive positive, unified social action through intentional arts and cultural programming designed to raise awareness on and further the crucial work of non-arts-and-cultural nonprofit organizations or public-benefit endeavors out of the spotlight. In the end, it is our belief we will collectively position ourselves to help better fend societal ills, instill a deeper awareness of shared community strength, and create an overall communal sense of well-being.
