He's active in sculpture, film, photography, and painting.
Renowned art critic Edward Lucie-Smith defined his style as "Pop-Expressionism," for his intimate and personal use of the pop aesthetic to portray the contemporary human condition. Notably, Humm also created a "Gesamtkunstwerk" on Goethe's Faust and the only feature film on Faust 2.
