PHITO empowers Small and Medium-sized Farmers (SMFs), paving the way for a sustainable future in agriculture. How we do that? Through a farmer-centered app.
While large producers embrace innovative digital technologies, SMFs often lack access to such innovations. Our mission is to provide accessible, user-friendly digital tools to all farmers worldwide.
Our app uses open geo-databases and translates existing spatial information into concrete, data-driven farming advice. That way farmers can easily adopt sustainable and climate-smart farming practices, while at the same time boosting productivity.
Through a special networking feature the app facilitates collaboration among farmers, consumers, and providers of agricultural goods and services and supports local agricultural knowledge and innovation systems.
Contributing to an inclusive and environmentally conscious agricultural sector, PHITO envisions a future where productivity and sustainability go hand in hand.
