Public libraries enrich our lives and empower us to grow. In the 6th largest city in the nation, public libraries are provided for by city management. But tax revenue only provides the basics. Public libraries are the cornerstone of our communities and they are only as great as the support they receive from community members. As Library Friends, we’re here to ensure that Phoenix’s public libraries have the resources they need to help our community thrive.
Our mission is to promote, enhance and expand the library for the benefit of the community. We raise funds to supplement programs & services. And we advocate for adequate resources.
