Phoenix Star International Group Limited is set up in Hong Kong to promote our cashmere and wool textile products.
Our family first started cashmere and wool trading operations back in 1980s and later set up our own manufacturing plant in the late ’90s. The manufacturing facility now spreads over 10 acres of land in Hebei province, China and has a complete composite unit including scouring, carding, combing, spinning, dyeing, knitting/weaving and finishing all under one roof. We use the most advanced carding machines (OCTIR), spinning frames (Bigagli), and finishing & yarn quality control systems (Savio) which are all imported from Italy.
We produce approximately 100 tons of dehaired cashmere, 800 tons of carded, worsted and semi-worsted cashmere/wool yarns and 2 million meters of fabrics a year, 50% of which is exported all over the world. Our products include pure cashmere, 100% lamb/merino/rabbit/yak/alpaca wool, cashmere or wool blends, and natural undyed yarns. Our cashmere or wool products can be blended with silk, cotton, and/or synthetic components depending on customer preferences. They are available in different counts ranging from 13 Nm to 100 Nm in both single, double and triple plies. We have improved our technology and have been producing and exporting 200 Nm yarns in the past 5 years.
In 2017, we invested USD 2.5 million to expand and upgrade our woolen fabric manufacturing facilities. We have acquired the R&D technology & personnel from our strategic partner, a dominated player in the Chinese woolen fabric manufacturing industry by retaining GuiDo Bertagnolio, the famous Italian fabric design expert, as the chief designer as early as 2006. For fabrics with high percentage of wool, they are anti-static and machine-washable. All fabrics can be made with special finishes such as waterproof, oil resistance, fire retardant and etc. Our double faced jacquard & dobby fabrics have become the star products and are widely exported worldwide.
