Photolitec is Biotech company in Buffalo, NY. Our offices and Lab are located in 73 High Street in the hart of the Buffalo Bio-Cluster (www.bnmc.org). Photolitec has been working on imaging compounds and cancer treatments with the use of PDT and SDT. Today we are moving 2 programs (PHOTOBAC and PETONCO to the clinical trials Phase I. PHOTOBAC obtained an ODD for Glioblastoma and the FDA IND for Glioblastoma. We plan to start the PH 1 in 2021. The company is developing new photosensitizing compounds used to identify cancer through medical imaging and treat the disease (a "see and treat" approach). Our compounds are designed to overcome limitations associated with the agents currently on the market. Photolitec's new long-wavelength-absorbing compounds will help to image and treat deeply-seated tumors. Photolitec is also actively involved in developing new agents for improved tumor imaging, as well as for monitoring tumor response after surgery / chemotherapy.
