The "Protecting Our Houses of Worship" series is an initiative in one of the Northeast suburbs of Dallas and the surrounding region. It is collaborative Public/Private sector partnership aimed at enhancing the security and safety of religious institutions within the communities we serve. Through a series of Free educational workshops, training sessions, and community engagement events, the initiative seeks to empower local congregations with the knowledge and tools needed to create secure environments for worship and fellowship. By fostering a sense of networking, unity and preparedness, the initiative strives to ensure that all individuals can practice their faith without fear, contributing to a more secure and harmonious community. The initiative was started in 2021 to reconnect community members and has continued into a series as the interest grew for Safety and Faith Ministries in the surrounding areas.
The goal is to have a community page that provides general links and references to FREE services available to Houses of Worship to enhance the safety and security of their facilities. The Houses of Worship are fully responsible for all content they download and any practices they implement at each of their uniqe campus environments.
