Forging Leadership for Generations.
The Foundation provides support for those serving in the Commissioned Corps of the USPHS and builds partnerships between the Commissioned Corps and the larger public health community. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization.
The Foundation hosts the USPHS Scientific & Training Symposium. The annual conference brings together over 1200 members of the U.S. Public Health Service and local/state/tribal health professionals. Attendees share updates in prevention and treatment of disease and disability, discuss activities in the administration, regulation, and provision of care throughout the federal health system.
