Physicians Cannabinoid Council

The Physicians Cannabinoid Council started in 2019. It is composed of physicians and nurse practitioners' medical board of advisors who excel in their primary field of specialty, while choosing to spend time educating their patients and supporting the emerging field of cannabis research for potential therapeutic health benefits. Board of advisors includes specialists in the field of family medicine, internal medicine, rheumatology, pain management, endocrinology, psychiatry, nephrology, and more. Our mission is to focus on: - Promoting cannabis medical research for therapeutic opportunities and consumer safety - Educating on both risk and health benefits of cannabis based on current published data. - Collaborating with and support organizations with similar values.
