PhytoCuro

Early stage start-up from DTU that focuses on cultivating of micro algae, extraction of bioactives and production and development of photo bioreactors. Winner of DTU Skylab Ignite Spring 2023 🔥 and semi finalist of Venture Cup DK 2023 PhytoCuro is a frontrunner in the breeding of algae strains, utilizing a tailor-made photobioreactor that yields real-time data for production optimization. This advanced technology, along with computer vision and artificial neural networks, allows PhytoCuro to manufacture high-value lipid and carotenoid extracts that will be widely used in the cosmetic and nutritional industry. We aim to improve environmentally sustainable production of high-value products through the use of the natural products produced in micro algae. Furthermore we strive to improve cost efficiency of researching new micro algal strains for optimizing growth conditions.
