PIA Group is a Korea-based investment manager, principal investor in real estate/infrastructure business and also a real estate/infrastructure developer. PIA was founded in 2009 by key members of Lehman Brothers. Since inception, PIA invested in diverse and complex credit investments including non-performing loans following the Global Financial Crisis in 2008 With successful track record, PIA raised a $200 million Separate Account from a foreign sovereign wealth fund in 2014. PIA also expanded its investment function into real estate development by setting up an in-house development team in 2016. In 2016, PIA further expanded its capability in the field of alternative investments by establishing PIA Investment Management Co., Ltd. ("PIA IM"). PIA IM is a fully licensed asset management company which has focused on making alternative investments including domestic and overseas real estate, infrastructure as well as private equity. In 2019, PIA established PIA Infra Co., Ltd. ("PIA Infra"), a separate entity to focus on infrastructure principal investments and advisory. PIA, PIA IM and PIA Infra (collectively "PIA Group") will continue to provide investors access to highly desirable investment opportunities on both global and local level by leveraging its investment capability.
