Incorporated in 1978, Pick Up Performance Co(s) (PUPC) is a producing and presenting organization. Originally
founded by choreographer/director David Gordon, PUPC expanded in 1992 to produce the work of writer/director Ain
Gordon currently the Artistic Director. The Co continues to supports innovative performance work presented on a national scale via multi-year development & production models in partnership with community organizations and performance venues. For the 2022/23 season the Co. has facilitated productions by artists John Kelly and Emily Coates. In development is an archive project for 11 LGBTQ artists.
