Pickett and Co, founded by Chef and Restaurateur Scott Pickett, is a premium hospitality group dedicated to working with the best seasonal Australian produce and creating dining experiences unique to each venue.
Estelle Bar Kitchen was the first to open in 2011 in Melbourne’s north. The restaurant was instantly adored by guests and received great critical acclaim. The opportunity to acquire the adjacent property arose and in 2015 it evolved into two separate establishments. The rebranded Estelle Bistro sat alongside Pickett’s award winning fine dining offering, ESP (Estelle by Scott Pickett), which closed its doors in August 2018.
In 2013, Pickett opened the doors to produce-driven Saint Crispin in Collingwood, immediately garnering critical acclaim. A contrast to Pickett’s other venues, he opened Pickett’s Deli & Rotisserie in the iconic Queen Victoria Market in 2016, offering simple, approachable fare. A second location is due to open at Melbourne Airport in November 2019.
Pickett opened Matilda 159 Domain in 2018, employing a woodfire oven to create an approachable, modern Australian menu with touches of native ingredients. A true labour of love, the offering is inspired by his family and foundational years, and named after his daughter, Matilda.
Reflecting the neighbourhood demand, 2019 saw Pickett combine his Northcote neighbourhood icons into Estelle, offering contemporary Australian dining to suit all occasions. In June, Saint Crispin was reborn as Lupo - a Melbourne-Italian eatery inspired by Pickett’s time with Howard and long-held secret passion for pasta.
On Friday, 1 November, Pickett will open the doors to Pastore: an all-day Italian-inspired dining venue. Located at Hotel Chadstone, Pastore — the Italian word for 'shepherd' — will honour the area's heritage as a pasture and orchard.
