Pickle & Squash aims to take the hassle out of cooking and make family mealtimes easy and fun with our simple motto: Don’t Cook Twice.
Our fortnightly boxes are delivered nationwide and come with all the ingredients you need to create crowd-pleasing meals that everyone will enjoy, from the fussiest of weaning babies to the most discerning of adults.
Launched by two South East-London based mums, Alice Chandler and Laura Zaccagnini, Pickle & Squash was created in May 2020, in the height of the first lockdown, after Alice was made redundant while pregnant with her second child and Laura was at her home with her one-year-old.
After Laura struggled with weaning her son and couldn’t find a recipe box that was suitable for little ones too, we had a light bulb moment and decided to create one ourselves.
The recipes are masterminded by Alice, who has a degree in Food and Nutrition, as well as 15 years’ experience in recipe development for brands including Pret a Manger and Ella’s Kitchen, where she was responsible for creating some of the baby food brand’s most popular pouches and meals.
