We also have a toy hospital for repairing teddies and soft toys. We make over 1000 puppets a year for clients ranging from ventriloquists to children’s counsellors and from TV production companies to mums and dads. We run a highly personal bespoke service, and will chat with you in detail about exactly what your custom puppet requirements are and how your ideas can best be brought to life. All puppets and toys are handmade for you in Edinburgh to your exact specification. We can create custom puppets from a picture, photo or description. They may be from cartoon characters or likenesses of real people. Within 4 weeks we’ll transform your idea into something as beautiful or scary as you want. There are no limits— if you can dream it, we can make it. Our muppet style moving mouth hand puppets are ever popular. Many people order lookalike puppets to look like themselves, a friend or a caricature of a celebrity. We are also frequently commissioned to make hand puppets based on company logos or mascots or story characters. We offer many mechanisms such as movable eyebrows, blinking eyes, movable fingers and arm rods. Small glove puppets are a popular budget option, particularly if you're ordering in large numbers. They have moving heads and arms that can be easily operated with the fingers and thumbs. Our cuddly toys and puppets based on children's drawings make a very personal gift.
