The PIEA is one of the first high school governing bodies solely focused on eSports programs and clubs.
Established in 2019, the organization is a nonprofit entity established to provide regulatory oversight and competition guidelines for interscholastic esports in Pennsylvania.
The goal is to provide the oversight and regulatory structure necessary to bridge eSports as a viable and credible high school program, and instill confidence in school administrators, parents and community leaders in its positive impacts. All while ensuring the safety and security of our state's student-athletes.
