With a history dating back to 1937, Pieper has grown into a trusted name across the region, known for our collaborative medical teams, advanced services, and strong partnerships with local referring veterinarians. Today, Pieper Veterinary serves as the Connecticut regional network of COVE Animal Health—a veterinarian-led platform founded by Pieper’s sibling leadership team, Tessa Olson, MBA, and Ben Olson, DVM, DACVIM (Neurology). Together, they continue the family tradition of advancing veterinary care, building on the vision of their parents, Dr. Robert Olson and Dr. Virginia Nunez. Our hospitals operate under a hub-and-spoke model, with a 24/7 emergency and specialty center in Middletown and a growing network of connected general practices across the state.
