Piictu is a mobile platform that allows people to collaborate around ideas, interests and experiences simply by using pictures from their mobile phone. The basic dynamic in the app is that anyone can upload a piic, gives it a caption, and get picture responses from friends and people all around the world. The company was part of Techstars NYC in the summer of 2011, and is supported by Softbank Capital, RRE Ventures, Betaworks, and a great group of angels including Dave Tisch, Jon Steinberg and others.
