PIJ Holdings Sdn Bhd

The presence of a corporate entity built on the Islamic principles like PIJ Holdings Sdn Bhd in a competitive environment, is perceived as a misnomer when measured against the principles of profits and wealth creation as defined by conventional business precepts. Like any other business entity whose objective is to be a profitable organisation that manages its resources with skills and knowledge, PIJ Holdings Sdn Bhd was established as the business management unit of Perbadanan Kemajuan Ekonomi Islam Negeri Johor (PKEINJ) or Islamic Economic Development Corporation of the State of Johor. Section 18 (I) of the Enactment of PKEINJ 1976 (Amendment) 1993 commissioned the corporation to develop, spur, expedite and manage the economic resources of the state of Johor. Its formation was prompted by the need to develop the economic interest of the Muslims in the state.
