PRAIL (Pilgrims Resources & Investments Limited) is a Business Advisory, Investment Management and Dealflow consulting firm with a primary focus on the emerging Africa – the final frontier of emerging markets. PRAIL is incorporated in Nigeria and the firm’s core activity is the identification and development of investment opportunities in the Agribusiness, Natural Resources, Technology, Renewable Energy, Mining, Sustainable Development and Financial Services sectors on behalf of clients and on its own account. ACTIVITIES • Sourcing, originating, evaluating, negotiating and executing investment deals in Nigeria and across sub-Saharan Africa, particularly in the agribusiness/natural resources, technology, energy, sustainable development and real estate sectors • Providing advisory, business development and strategic support to investors, owners and managers of small & mid-cap businesses operating or planning to operate in West Africa and across Sub-Sahara Africa • Building relationships and developing alliances with local and international investors, PE & VC firms and consulting firms on business and investment opportunities in Nigeria & across Sub-Sahara Africa • Advising governments; from local, state, national to supranational level, on public private partnerships (PPP) projects for the provision of much needed public services and infrastructures. To identify, sponsor, support, participate, package and promote such opportunities to the international investment community • Organizing appropriate trainings and seminars on topical economic, finance and business matters. In addition to addressing skills needed by the business community both locally and internationally, both in understanding each other and building the Africa Business Imperative. • Developing proposals, business plans and projects for clients both on the sell and buy sides as the case may be; and execute such on their behalf as might be needed.
