Founded in 1874, the PININO winery produces Brunello and Rosso di Montaclino from Sangiovese grapes in Montosolis hills, north of the historic center of Montalcino.
The families Hernandez & Gamon combine tradition and innovation since 2003 to produce PININO’s elegant wines - created for the joy of indulging.
PININO's brand reflects the winery's renaissance: The historical emblem harmonizes with the fresh branding as does the contemporary elegance of the new wines with the long history of its terroir.
PININO produces Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and Rosso di Montalcino DOC from Sangiovese grapes sourced exclusively from our vineyards situated in two locations in Montalcino.
The cultivation, vinification, and aging all follow the strict guidelines of the "Consorzio del Brunello". Moreover, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva wines are produced in exceptional vintages.
