Pink Wave’s mission is to support the equitable safety and well-being of women, girls and gender non-conforming people through community organizing, projects and activities. We aim to break down systemic barriers to inclusive and equitable healthcare, education, and leadership so that all people have the opportunity to reach their highest potential.
Pink Wave pushes back against misogyny, patriarchal servitude, and fear of femme through community programs and civic activities that support an inclusive feminist vision & intersectional racial, gender & reproductive justice. We aim to break down systemic barriers to inclusive and equitable healthcare, education, and leadership so that all people have the opportunity to reach their highest potential.
Born from a groundswell of people from the greater Stamford area who march and rally for justice, equity, equal pay, equal rights and equal access to services, Pink Wave is emerging as a leader in grassroots organizing in our Stamford, Connecticut community and beyond.
We recognize that there can be no gender justice without racial justice and therefore strive for an intersectional foundation of feminism and activities that are mindfully inclusive.
