Pink Week

Pink Week was founded in Clare College, Cambridge, by Nina Rauch to celebrate the life and legacy of Dina Rabinovitch. The aims of Pink Week are two-fold; we want to engage and educate students, altering the common rhetoric surrounding breast cancer and encouraging self-awareness of the body. Held over a week in February the third annual Pink Week in 2017 saw 62 events spread across Cambridge University campi and colleges, with 55 incredible committee members working hard to ensure engagement and attendance was high across the multiplicity of events organised; of which there was 'something for everyone'. A great privilege and result of the events held by Pink Week is the opportunity to raise funds for breast cancer care and research charities. 2017 saw over £34,000 raised, making us the University's largest and most successful student-led charitable organisation.
