For over 50 years, at Piomboleghe, we have been recovering, recycling, and producing lead from spent lead batteries and other lead materials to regenerate a resource whose reuse makes it sustainable and unlimited.
Our work, focused on producing lead and lead alloys with a 99.97% purity grade, plays a crucial role in the critically important recycling supply chain thanks to our experience applied to the most innovative processing techniques.
Every day we strive to recover and convert thousands of tons of spent lead materials that, if dispersed into the environment, would become hazardous waste for the ecosystem.
Our work is based on the principles of the circular economy. Through an integrated corporate policy for quality, environment, safety, energy, and ethics, we can guarantee the quality of our products while contributing to protecting the environment and the well-being of everyone.
That is why in 2021, with our transformation to a Benefit Company, we wanted to officialize the company's role in promoting the circularity of the material by including it in our articles of association.
