Pipe Lining & Coating Pty Ltd (PLC) is Australia's largest privately owned manufacturer of mild steel cement lined pipes and specialised fittings servicing the water industry.
Our extensive product range includes spiral welded steel pipes DN100 - DN600 (AS1579-2001/AS1594 HU300), in-house manufactured rolled and welded steel pipes DN500 - DN6000, various specialised fitting to suit client requirements - lobster back bends, tees, equals, concentric and eccentric reducers, dismantling joints, expansion joints and all structural attachements including supports, weld collar bands and thrust/weep flanges.
Pipe Lining & Coating Pty Ltd additionally specialises in the surface treatment, both internal and external with all works being completed inhouse. External surface treatment includes various types of paint systems as per client requirements and Fusionkote, a fusion bonded medium density polyethylene (FBMDPE) coating. Fusionkote is an Industry preferred coating system and can be applied to all pipe configurations, both straight lengths and complex fittings.
Internal linings are completed using a cement mortar lining (AS1281). Straight lengths of pipes are lined using a centrifugal spinning plant whilst complex fittings and configurations are completed using a hand lining method. For cement lining projects located in remote areas, PLC has developed a mobile cement lining plant which has the capability of lining pipes ranging from 100NB to 2200NB and can be located with minimal site preparation. The mobile cement lining plant benefits project by elimiating transportation, handling and storage of completed product.
