Piperseeds is a new Reggio Emilia inspired kindergarten in Taipei with a multicultural perspective towards nurturing children’s development through art, projects, and language learning. Opening in February 2025. 👉Taiwanese identity with a global perspective We embrace the Taiwanese cultural identity of the community we serve while integrating an American and global perspective into the learning experiences we provide for the children. This unique blend of perspectives helps children develop a multicultural awareness and global worldview while also embracing their Taiwanese roots. 👉Reggio Emilia inspired We are deeply influenced by the Reggio Emilia Approach, viewing children as curious, competent, and social learners. Rather than simply being transmitters of knowledge, our teachers act as facilitators guiding children as they explore and construct knowledge. We design learning experiences with meaningful connections to the real world that help children understand the physical, emotional, and cultural aspects of the world around them. This child-centered approach fosters critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a holistic understanding of their environment, nurturing a lifelong love of learning. 👉Opened by American expat educators The kindergarten was founded by an American expat couple who are trained and qualified early childhood educators.
