PIPISTREL VERTICAL SOLUTIONS d.o.o. is the new company name for the R&D department previously operating inside PIPISTREL d.o.o., the latter being now focused on sales, production and maintenance of Pipistrel aircraft. The design experience of PIPISTREL VERTICAL SOLUTIONS team covers all Pipistrel's two-seat models and the four-seater Panthera from conceptual design up to preparation for serial production. Pipistrel is the only company in the world selling three different electric aircraft models: the Taurus Electro, the Alpha Electro, and the new Velis Electro. PIPISTREL VERTICAL SOLUTIONS designed more than nine different electric aircraft and developed propulsion batteries for NASA and Siemens’s aerobatic aircraft, as well as integrated the fuel cell propulsion system in the world’s first hybrid-electric four-seat aircraft.
Pipistrel Vertical Solutions is also designing eVTOL manned and unmanned aircraft and is working on a hydrogen-based 19-seater for intra-European short routes.
