Pique Roto

Pique Roto is a brand of higher quality olive products that utilize exclusively olives from the Rincon Pandora Olive Grove. This plantation consists of 9,100 genetically-certified olive trees imported from Italy, cultivated and managed with maximum care and environmentally sound methods. Today, we produce higher quality extra-virgin olive oils, olives for table consumption, and a creamy and flavored olive paste, which have rapidly acquired appreciation from both local consumers in Uruguay and Italy. Our EVOs offer is twofold: 'Taggiasca' is a flavored and harmonic mono-varietal olive oil from plants which are typical of Liguria, in northwestern Italy; 'Tosca' is a three-varietal blend of more robust flavor, obtained from Leccino, Frantoio and Pendolino, olive tree varieties that are more typical of the central Tuscany region. Our table olives 'Le Olive' are also prepared with traditional methods and technique, caring for each phase of olive development, treatment and conservation in barrels under perfectly controlled natural conditions to preserve the fruit aromas, flavors and nutritional values. They come in two different packages: preserved for consumption in extra-virgin olive oil or in brine. They are both of prime quality, and a major complement to fine cooking. Our olive paste 'Il Pate' features a tasty, flavored, and fragrant paste which is made with preparation methods typical of the Ligurian tradition, with secret recipes that add to the fruit taste with herbal additions. To guarantee full quality-control of our products, we adhere to strict protocols dictating for process-control over each phase, from the plant to the bottle or flask. This is why Pique Roto is a business that utilizes only olives from a single producer: the Rincon Pandora Olive Grove located in Casupà, Florida, Uruguay, connected with several international research centers and universities in Europe.
