Yayasan Pita Kuning Anak Indonesia

Yayasan Pita Kuning Anak Indonesia (Pita Kuning) is a philanthropic foundation for children with cancer which stands on the initiation of young volunteers community called C3 (Community for Children with Cancer). Since April 26, 2007, concern for others has never stopped encouraging the spirit and commitment to the founders of the Pita Kuning until now. When studying the facts and problems related to children who suffer from cancer in Indonesia, the Pita Kuning understands the needs to deliver the aid sustainably as referred from the National Cancer Prevention Committee (KPKN) which has stated that the effective cancer prevention should be in line with the knowledge of information, treatment, and care. Now, the Pita Kuning would like to take part in Palliative Care to improve the quality of life of children with cancer, especially those who come from the economically disadvantaged family background. Vision: To be the foundation that provides integrated psychosocial services for children with cancer patients from underprivileged families in Indonesia. Mission: 1. Distributing funds for the treatment and care of pediatric patients with cancer that are tailored to their needs. 2. Assisting in providing access to the treatment and palliative care for children with cancer patients and their families, since they are diagnosed until the end of the treatment. 3. Providing integrated psychosocial services for children with cancer patients and their families through community-based partnerships.
