Pitt DesignHub

Who are we? Design Hub gives students real-world experience in engineering and design, market realization, project management and teamwork. We are a student-organized starting point for creative thinkers and an incubator for student inventors. We have many eager students ready to work on medical devices or their own projects and we are prepared to facilitate their journey to do so. What do we do? There are several ways for students and community partners to get involved with Design Hub. Our cornerstone experience is to create medical devices with professional mentors in partnership with the Center for Medical Innovation. Additionally, we host skill-building workshops and ideation session events and we help provide budding student designers the resources and teammates to undertake their own projects and bring their ideas to reality.
