About Society of Astronautics and Rocketry | SEDS Chapter, Pittsburgh

University of Pittsburgh chapter of Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS). Our team competes in the annual NASA Student Launch Competition in Huntsville, Alabama. The students that make up the team range in majors from computer engineering to math. Students have ability to learn about rocket design, construction, electronics, and business relations through processes. We aim to provide students with rocket engineering experience to help inspire and prepare them to have future success in the rocketry field. The nature of our work is also intended to inspire the younger generation in the Pittsburgh community to pursue rocketry in their futures.
