The Pivot Pavilion

Not just Another Non-Profit in Tech I saw a need for these organizations to propagate to medium and low income areas and act as a pipeline, but I thought I could do better. I've worked with or reached out to nonprofits doing similar work in their respective communities. What all of these companies lack is a solid marketing strategy and management that is able to pivot with the skill need change. The biggest hurdle is how you would build a program that services a need within a short amount of time....when that need changes then the pipeline is broken and has to be adjust to fit the new need. This is the problem with most colleges and/or post- secondary education. "By time the students graduate, the world has changed." 1. The training is able providing pipelines to companies with a need for highly specialized talent i.e. software development, IT, cyber security. 2. We would offer TPaaS, talent pipeline as a service. 3. We would help any company with a need including non-profits by building the ever changing bridge that they so desperately need, leaving a path for all members (young, old, disabled, uneducated, or poor) of our communities to prosper through STEM and STEAM based education. My approach is different at The Pivot Pavilion (name in progress) create a goal with the customer (company), teach all students how to think (solution focused) by creating and working on real world work (i.e. Operation Spark's Dev Workshop or WOS' apprenticeships/consultancies), and finally leave the door open for student to learn from each other and teach each other (i.e. Silicon Valley/ Bay Area Corp. approach to in-house talent upgrading). I want to alleviate the challenges of corporations and their recruiters for finding highly skilled, specialized talent.
