Pixel European Projects

Pixel is an international education and training institution with specific expertise in European Cooperation and Project Management. Pixel was established in Florence (Italy) in January 1999 and has therefore 22 years of experience in the following areas: 1) Organization of international education and training initiatives 2) Direct submission and management of European projects 3) Organization of international events and conferences in the field of education 4) Organization of international study visits, mobility and exchanges At European level, Pixel has developed cooperative agreements and partnerships with over 500 institutions cooperating with Pixel in the organization and management of its activities. Pixel’s European partners are: ministries, universities, schools, regions, provinces, municipalities, training institutions, research centres, cultural institutions, schools, hospitals etc. in over 30 different European countries. Pixel is also coordinator or member of some European networks, for example NELLIP (Network of European Language Label Initiatives and Projects) ; Chemistry Is (Network for the promotion of Chemistry Education) etc. In Italy, Pixel cooperates with several organizations including: universities, research centres, vocational education and training organizations, adult education institutions, schools. Pixel has also close cooperation with public bodies in charge of education and training methodologies, strategies and policies. Pixel is engaged in a constant improvement in the quality of the services performed. Pixel obtained quality certification according to UNI EN ISO 9001:2000. Pixel is accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education and by the Regional Government. Pixel has 15 people working as full time staff, also over 100 external experts and trainers cooperate with Pixel. Pixel’s office is in Florence near the city centre.
