Pragjyotishpur University is established under The Pragjyotishpur University Act No XLVI of 2022, recognized by The University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi. This university echoes the muse of the famous saying of the Gita, तस्य प्रज्ञा प्रतिष्ठिता, invoking the essence of true knowledge by creating steady, firm, compassionate, brave, patriotic, and dedicated human beings through the process of inculcating the sense of shraddha, anusasana, satyanveshana, dhairya, aikya, and karuna.
