Place Conference

PLACE 18 is the first National Planning Conference for students to exist in Canada since 2014. Place Conferences will bring in speakers from across Canada, discussing various issues, opportunities, and concepts related to planning. Over three days annually, attendees will learn about planning from various perspectives and have the chance to attend lectures, field visits, round-table discussions, workshops, and evening galas/socials. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in professional and academic presentations, workshops, and field trips to foster learning, networking, and information sharing. Professional and academic support will also be available to help students build their knowledge base. Come visit Edmonton in 2018, alongside 250+ other attendees, to network, learn, and connect with professional planners and students from across the country. PLACE 18 will take place at the University of Alberta’s North Campus in the heart of Edmonton October 12-14, 2018.
