Placebooker, an internet and mobile booking and management service developed in Melbourne for global use was launched in January 2013. Designed to make sharing holiday places easier, the service allows place owners to share booking and access details with only the people that they choose (typically their family and friends). Anybody can sign up any type of place including beach houses, country properties, ski lodges, houseboats, caravans, or any shared facility.
