Plaintext Group

Technology policy has become just as important as national security policy. But our policy institutions do not yet have the technical expertise to provide the insight needed to guide decision makers. Plaintext group is an in-house tech-strategy research group within Schmidt Futures that aims to produce novel research on technical policy issues. We work to inform debate around the most important issues in technology by producing useful, relevant, and considered technical analysis for policymakers, philanthropies, and nonprofits.
