PLAN SEA

PLAN SEA is a master project at NTNU. More and more trash accumulates along the coast of Ålesund, to the point where Mørekysten is the most polluted in Norway. The majority of the trash sinks to the ocean floor and there are currently no commercial solutions to recover it. Three master programs, Product and Systems Engineering, Naval Architecture and soon also the new Mechatronics master, are working together to create a prototype vessel that will be able to clean up the ocean floor.
