Please sponsor a child and help support Plan International's long-term work to make lasting improvements to children's lives. You can sponsor a child in Ethiopia by signing up via one of Plan's fundraising countries in Europe, North America and Australia. As a sponsor, you'll get regular updates about our work in the community where the child you sponsor lives. You can also enjoy a unique cultural exchange, by writing and receiving letters.
The overall purpose of sponsorship in Plan is to build a global community aware of, involved in and united around the needs of children.
Plan’s Sponsorship Program is unique for several reasons. It is a means of building one to one match between a child and an individual/group sponsor, it is an opportunity to build relationships through communication exchanges, it provides development information to raise people’s awareness and personal commitment to help make long-term, positive changes for children, it provides the opportunity to take action for positive change, ensures Plan’s work is connected to individual children and families, and enables accountability to every party involved.
