Plant Your Future

Established in 2010, Plant your Future (PYF) is a female led, non-profit organisation. We work with smallholder farmers in the Western Arc of the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest, known for its high conservation value Napo Moist Forest. Our mission is to restore deforested land in the Amazon Rainforest and alleviate poverty by empowering smallholder farmers to transition to sustainable farming. By restoring degraded and deforested farmlands back to forest cover we will help to mitigate climate change and ensure an ecologically and socially sustainable way for local people to feed themselves and generate a livelihood. Our 2020 five-year plan includes a scale-up strategy to plant one million native trees with smallholder farming communities in the Peruvian Amazon.
