Plas.md is dedicated to improving human performance and resilience through the integration of realtime biometric data with advanced immersive simulations. Our core product offering is Bionautica Trails and the Bionautica Biometrics platform. Bionautica Trails transforms treadmill exercise by immersing runners in a living virtual world driven by real-time biometric data including heart rate, skin temperature and galvanic skin response. With the goal of increasing human performance through improved motivation, cognition and resilience, Bionatuca Trails integrates game based challenges, light narrative and compelling visuals to pull users into the experience. Support for props including a 20 or 40-pound weighted backpack add additional realism while encouraging participants to push themselves beyond their perceived limits. Bionautica Trails is currently in use at Magee Rehabilitation in Philadelphia, helping with a variety of conditions, from Musculoskeletal Disorders to Traumatic Brain Injury patients. A research study is ongoing for Q3-Q4 2018 with Jefferson University Hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation unit. Plas.md was Founded and is staffed by a team with over 40 years of combined experience delivering cutting edge behavior change, education and training systems to DoD, government, and commercial entities.
