Treatment using PLASOMA—a CE-marked Class IIb medical device—has been shown in a randomized controlled trial (RCT) to be 2.5 times more effective at closing complex wounds than traditional methods. The IP-protected system consists of two components: a pulser unit, which generates a high voltage to create plasma (ionized air), and cold plasma pads, which deliver the plasma directly to the wound site.
