Plasmaris, currently a commercialisation team from the University of Bristol and funded by Innovate UK ICURe, is developing a disruptive light-controlled RF integrated circuit technology enabling extremely low-loss and ultra-linear signal switching, controllable attenuation, and phase shifting up to several-hundred-gigahertz ranges and several-hundred-watt RF incident powers. Our signal conditioning technology can be applied in a range of areas, including mobile phone base stations, satellite beamforming antennas, test and measurement instrumentation, and RADAR systems.
We believe it can achieve best-in-class insertion losses, linearities, bandwidths, and power handling, while keeping all the reliability and cost advantages of traditional solid-state technologies.
