Global plastic packaging production is projected to quadruple to 318 million tonnes by 2050. 20% of all oil by then will be used for plastic packaging production.
PlasticsLoop is rethinking plastic packaging for the future. We collect and buy plastic packaging waste and convert it into food-grade packaging through our circular model. Crucially, this introduces local recycled plastic as a circular, traceable, and sustainable packaging option — a Singapore first.
Our mission is two-fold: reducing packaging waste and minimising virgin plastic production. By doing so, we are lowering environmental impacts while maximising recyclate value. We’re creating a cost-effective, sustainable packaging option that can be embraced on a wider scale.
