Plastitex is a Made in Italy excellence in the production of PVC-coated polyester yarns which are then woven and packaged in a wide variety of reinforcements and solutions. In its 50 year-long history, Plastitex has established itself as a leader in the national market, particularly in the seaside market, and is among the major international players thanks to its unique and exclusive business model which offers quality yarns, high performance fabrics and also custom-made products for clients. Thanks also to this uniqueness, Plastitex was acquired in November 2017 by the Serge Ferrari Group, European leader in the sector. To us, innovation mainly means being able to help our customers develop their projects, thanks to our skills. We are constantly working in synergy with designers, architects and our clients’ technical offices, creating a virtuous circle which in turn develops new ideas. Our fabrics have high performing features such as the (Class 1 and IMO) fireproofing certification, (CATAS) mechanical and atmospheric agents resistance and can be customized with a wide range of technical and chromatic features for every type of environment and use. We are also very attentive to the environmental impact that an industrial activity can generate; we are therefore very careful in reducing the risks related to our production processes and the materials used while fully respecting both people and the environment.
