CONTAINERS OF IDEAS FOR MORE THAN HALF CENTURY Set up on 7th June 1951 by Dr. Guido Braghini, the Company initially manufactured soft paper padding for the confectionery sector, from which it takes its original name,“POLICARTA”. In the early sixties, the Company also began working with plastics, firstly in the form of trays for chocolates, then with the expansion of production into the entire food sector, ranging from blister packs to technical articles. In 2001 the Company realized, on its own trade-mark, the largest collection in the world of top level quality plastic plates and trays; in the same year the name was changed to “PLASTPACK” with a view to consolidating its vocation in the plastic packaging sector, at the same time, the original name POLICARTA® became a registered trademark dedicated to the paper one. Nowadays, the Company offers standard products and customised solutions for specific requirements, using only materials suitable for food contact and low environmental impact. PLASTPACK® applies the UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 regulation and a careful production control guarantees a high standard of product. PLASTPACK® has its head office in via delle Magnolie 7, Gallarate (Va), with good road connections. Gallarate is on the A8 motorway axis and A4 (Milano - Torino). The Company is 5 km from Malpensa International Airport.
