La plateforme technologique 🔬 est une unité d'appui à la recherche (UAR n°3750), au sein de l’Institut Pierre-Gilles de Gennes (IPGG).
Elle met à la disposition du monde académique et industriel, les technologies nécessaires pour réaliser, caractériser et utiliser des dispositifs microfluidiques dans un seul et même espace de 550 m².
Elle est conduite par une équipe d’ingénieur.e.s et technicien.e.s qui gèrent le parc d’équipements, accompagnent les utilisateurs (conseil et formation), et développent de nouveaux procédés.
Depuis sa création, la plateforme s'est inscrite dans le paysage de la microfluidique en France. Elle fait partie du consortium SBPC (Salles Blanches Paris Centre) qui mutualise les équipements de toutes les plateformes technologiques parisiennes (INSP Paris VI, ENS, Observatoire de Paris, MPQ Paris VII…)
La plateforme technologique a été intégrée dans le label Carnot IPGG microfluidique, qui accompagne les entreprises dans leurs projets de Recherche-Développement-Innovation pour leur apporter un avantage concurrentiel porté par les nouvelles solutions en microfluidique.
