They all follow totally outdated user experience paradigms from the early 1970s, where IT people have worked on tiny terminals in windowless rooms and had to tell computers in all details what to do and how exactly to do it.
But the world has changed. We don't need to count every keystroke or punch cards anymore. Infrastructure tools need to follow the use case and help involve everybody in the engineering organization, no matter their level of experience.
