Platforma Independenta

The Independent Platform is a non-partisan, non-profit think tank dedicated to strengthening democracy, social cohesion, and the strategic capacity to respond to contemporary challenges. Through applied research, civic education, and international dialogue, we contribute to the modernization of institutions, the digitalization of communities, and the strengthening of Romania's position as a key player in the Euro-Atlantic space. We support partnerships between civil society, academia, policymakers, and diplomatic networks, with real impact in Romania and the Republic of Moldova. We are actively engaged in topics such as democratic governance, security in the Black Sea region, civic diplomacy, and the digital transformation of society.
