PLATFORM for the NEEDY (PLANE)

PLATFORM for the NEEDY (PLANE) is a registered non-profit NGO based in the Kabarole district, Rwenzori region, Uganda, dedicated to transforming lives and empowering communities. Since 2010, we have been committed to advocating for the rights of children, youth, and women, and promoting a healthy, violence-free society. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for disadvantaged populations through a range of empowerment programs, human rights advocacy, health promotion, and literacy initiatives. We focus on areas such as health awareness, economic empowerment for teenage mothers, educational support for orphans and vulnerable children, and gender-based violence prevention. At PLANE, we are driven by the vision of a safe and prosperous future for all. We provide crucial support to rural communities in Western Uganda by promoting sustainable practices, advancing sexual and reproductive health rights, and enhancing water, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
